About Me

Now an Associate of Science in Engineering graduate from Northern Virginia Community College (Summa Cum Laude), Daniel is a proactive, technically skilled individual with a strong foundation in hardware-software integration and over 15 years of hands-on computer troubleshooting experience. His passion for computing began early—assisting his father to build a desktop computer at the age of three. Since then, Daniel knew his future was cemented with computing. He assembled his first soldering kit computer at 14 and built a modern PC shortly thereafter—and has since evolved through certifications including CompTIA A+ 1101 & 1102 and TestOut PC Pro, which are consistently renewed to keep up with changes in the industry.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech with a focus in Chip-Scale Integration and a minor in Quantum Information Science and Engineering, Daniel applies his skills in embedded systems, Verilog, microcontroller programming, and semiconductor fabrication to both academic and personal projects. He is currently developing an educational hardware learning device: the Computer Memory Interactive Teaching Tool. Other creations include a custom Home Audio System, and a Raspberry Pi-based Car Computer with Apple CarPlay and backup camera integration.

Professionally, Daniel has demonstrated strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities as an IT Support Specialist at AKIMA—performing hardware repairs and system diagnostics. During his tenure at Virginia Tech, Daniel would acquire an internship as an Associate Quality Engineer at Lenovo, where he tested pre-release ThinkPad systems and conducted stress testing on ARM-based platforms. He is the founder and lead developer at The Lomis Company of Virginia (LOMISCO, LLC), where he performs contract work in hardware repair and experiments with Assembly programming and circuit design.

Known for his positive work ethic, collaborative attitude, and excellent time management, Daniel excels in team environments that value communication, leadership, and technical innovation. Equipped with extensive experience in tools such as NI Multisim, Cadence Virtuoso, LTspice, Arduino, C/C++, embedded C, BASIC, Assembly (x86, 8080, and MIPS), ModelSim, Quartus, Python, he is prepared to contribute immediately in roles involving hardware testing, embedded development, ASIC design, or systems integration.
